The little Sparrow with big worries
A colourful and child friendly short story about Daisy the Sparrow who is unable to find her beautiful singing voice. By talking through her worries with wise old Owl, she realises that it’s okay to be different and even if she never finds her singing voice then that is okay too.
It’s okay to just be you!
About the author:
I’m a neurodivergent mother of three, with two of my children having Autism and ADHD respectively. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD and Autism myself led to struggles at school and at home. Understanding neurodiversity through my own experience, research and through recognising characteristics in my children, has enabled me to better support them but also to advocate for them better throughout their education and daily life.
My book is intended for informational purposes only and is based on personal experience. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. CJ. Gilroy
